The use of authorised and unauthorised drones operations at concerts and festivals is increasing. Broadcasters and security teams are both utilising the flexibility and cost-efficiencies drones use brings – whether it be to capture unique footage of a band on stage or crowd shot, to providing an ‘eye-in-the-sky’ to help foresee crowd disturbances and prevent illegal or dangerous activity.
